House Bunnies

“House Bunnies” is the working title for a new film starring Anna Faris (best known as Cindy Campbell in “Scary Movie” and the awful sequels). Anna plays a disgraced Playboy Playmate that gets booted out of the Mansion and gets a job as a House Mother at a UCLA sorority. Pretty standard, really.

It is pure genius to combine the playmate/sorority angles because now you can reasonably cast a plethora of gorgeous women to fill both social circles of Anna’s life. Just imagine if Elisha Cuthbert’s porn star character in “The Girl Next Door” had fled to a sorority house instead of next to that dork in the suburbs. The writers of this film did exactly that. Brilliant! Stephen Hawking ain’t got shit on them!

The number of babes in this movie is bordering on patently absurd:

There are the established Hollywood actress types: Anna Faris, Monet Mazur, Sarah Mason, Emma Stone and Kat Dennings.

The uber-hot American Idol babe making the acting leap: Katharine McPhee.

And rounding out the cast, just a few of the most beautiful Playboy Playmates to ever put on a bunny costume: Reigning Playmate of the Year Sara Jean Underwood, Miss February 2001 Lauren Michelle Hill, and Miss April 2001 Katie Lohmann.

There are still in production so the reported casting isn’t even complete yet. That probably means there will be even more beautiful babies before the filming is through. No details on a release date yet, only that it will be in 2008.
